LEE PEARSON’S TOP TIPS

Dressage gold medalist Lee Pearson was the first Paralympian to be inducted to the British Horse Society's Hall of Fame and is the first ever-disabled rider to win a National Championship title against able-bodied riders. Lee was awarded an OBE in the 2005 New Year's Honours List and was a member of the GB equestrian team that retained the team title at the Athens 2004 Games.

SWEET DREAMS ARE MADE OF BLISS

Avoid putting bedding too close to the stable door to avoid waste. Make a 6” bed using 5-6 bales of Bliss. Bank up the edges against the walls as a precaution against your horse getting cast while rolling. Remove droppings daily and spread a fresh bale on top every 3-4 days.

KEEP DUST DOWN

Horses, like humans are all susceptible to dust. This can cause sneezing and wheezing at best and at worst, it can trigger Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Bliss Bedding is produced using a unique dust extraction and treatment process to remove dust and all the worries that go with it.

KEEP COSTS DOWN

Rape straw does not fluctuate in price like other types of bedding and is a very cost effective alternative to shavings or straw. Because it is highly absorbent, spend less time mucking out, more time riding and less money on bedding.

KEEP IT GREEN

And you might even save some money in the process. Bliss is a natural product, made from sustainable resources and is highly biodegradable. It rots down on muck heaps in months rather than years, reducing your muckheap’s impact in the environment.

EASY DOES IT

Because Bliss balls and goes hard when it’s wet, it handles more easily than straw or shavings so you waste less of it.

STRICTLY FOR SLEEPING NOT EATING

Blue Circle Boy and my stallion Rafarge will eat anything - except Bliss. They tell me it tastes awful.

PUPPY LOVE

Bliss makes great bedding for puppies and pets of all kinds, good news for breeders like me.
